Most of these products do two things, nothing and nothing. Here are some simple things that you can do today to reduce you that number on your tape measure. The best part is they are free.
Fiber is the number one missing thing in people’s diets. It consist of indigestible material that has the effect of pulling waste products out of your colon and small intestine. Leaving waste in your colon over time can cause serious health problems and even cancer. Eating cruciferous vegetables is a great source of fiber. If you want a smaller waist you’ll never get there is you have a rotten McDonalads quarter pounder from 1986 crusted to the side of you colon. Try to eat a large salad every day. Aim for one pound of leafy green vegetables. You’ll notice a difference in how you look and feel in as little as a week
You probably know that cardio is great exercise but you might not know that it has a major impact on your stomach in particular. Walking or mild running forces your stomach and core to be tight and tense for a long period of time. This is training those muscles to be strong and taught. This will prevent loss of muscle tone in that area that is responsible for your stomach hanging over your waistband. Treadmills and ellipticals are best, but you can accomplish more than you think by briskly walking around your neighborhood at night. Even 15 minutes of walking a day can make a huge difference.
This tip is easy because you don’t actually have to do anything. Just stop drinking aerated drinks. Ditch you Pepsi one habit. If you are that person that keeps a case of soda under your desk at work and think it’s healthy because it’s diet then I’m talking to you. Carbonated drinks bring a huge volume of gas into your intestine that literally sits there. You can feel this effect after you drink it if you pay attention to how you stomach feels. Get off these drinks for two weeks and you’ll feel a noticeable difference. Try just switching to water.
