Best Breakfast Weight Loss

smootiePlanning is one of the hardest parts of any weight loss diet.  People don’t know what to eat or what type of exercise program is going to give them the results they want.  There is so much conflicting information about what to eat to lose weight that people can’t even plan meals to get started on their goals.  I wanted to share one meal that I eat everyday that  helped me lose weight and get healthy.  The real secret for a rapid weight loss diet plan is to eat healthy food.  This doesn’t mean switch to Diet Coke or skip breakfast.  It means consume unprocessed, whole foods.  Let me show you how to get started.

Breakfast

We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but few people know why.  Breakfast is really a compound word. It breaks your fast from not eating all night while you are sleeping.  Getting calories in your body when you wake up is important because it starts your metabolism.  It’s a similar concept to the first hill on a roller coaster being the tallest.  Even a  subtle thing like drinking cold water when you wake up will make your body start burning calories because it kick starts your metabolism. Breakfast is a tricky subject for diets because conventional breakfast foods aren’t very healthy and foods like muffins, pancakes and eggs are all people have ever known for breakfast.  If you have been eating eggs and think they are helping you lose weight please stop. They are loaded with cholesterol, animal proteins, and saturated fats. Eggs are not helping you lose weight and you don’t need all that protein.  The answer to your breakfast woes is smoothies.  They can deliver everything you need and a huge dose of fiber to help your body stay free of toxins.  There are many recipes for this breakfast smoothies but give mine a try.  It works and I look forward to it every morning.

Breakfast Smoothies Done Easy

Here is what you need.

  1. Frozen berries
  2. one banana
  3. 1 cup almond milk.  I don’t drink animal milk and you shouldn’t either.
  4. chia seeds
  5. flax seeds

Mix your ingredients in a large cup and hit them with a submersible blender.  I like a submersible blender because it’s easy to clean.  Keeping your diet tools clean and ready for use will keep you consistent. I use this blender. You can vary these ingredients to suit your tastes. I usually use blue berries for my smoothies but I’ve used bags of mixed berries in the past.  When I buy the berries I buy both kinds and alternate every few days for some variety.  I really recommend the almond milk because animal milk is a very high carb product and filled with hormones and several other unsavory components.

 

Success in anything is all about consistency and staying motivated.  This smoothie will fill you up and get your metabolism started.
